La montre automatique Seamatic Strap Black Edition allie élégance et praticité, et est dotée de fonctionnalités haut de gamme. Dotée d'un élégant boîtier en acier inoxydable 316L PVD noir et d'un bracelet de plongée fonctionnel en silicone, cette montre dégage un charme utilitaire. Le cadran noir, orné d'index appliqués luminescents de différentes formes, est protégé par un verre saphir et arbore des touches de blanc et d'orange sur ses aiguilles des heures et des minutes ouvertes. La montre est également dotée d'une lunette unidirectionnelle en céramique noire pour un chronométrage précis sous l'eau. Une couronne vissée sur le boîtier de 42 mm, munie d'un protège-couronne, renforce sa durabilité. Animée par le mouvement fiable Miyota 8215, cette montre résiste à des profondeurs allant jusqu'à 300 m.

The Seamatic Black is just about everything you need in a dive watch. Robust construction , clear and readable whilst sitting nicely on the wrist and wearing easily. There are two things that could be improved. First is reducing the amount of writing on the dial, its just unnecessary and does not add to the watch. Its called a Seamatic so why put Henley Automatic underneath (Henley is not by the sea) which is it Sea or Henley? it just looks cluttered. The second is the movement . Not bad but the case is excellent why not just upgrade the movement accordingly and produce a terrific watch. That's my gripes and why its 4 stars not 5, but there is plenty to like about the watch .
The display is actually beautifully clear and an easy read at a glance, even at night, and apart from the writing looks extremely classy. The case is robust, feels very high quality and is finished really well. With the black strap this is an impressive looking piece and is at home on dress occasions or in a casual environment. The hand setting is precise with hack and wind which is nice attention to detail. Finally its a good timekeeper maintaining accuracy within the Miyota movement specification. Overall this is a very well priced watch and stands up against expensive rivals. I very much like wearing it and would highly recommend it at this price point its very difficult to beat.

The only criticism I have, is that the hands could be made clearer, ie by making them stand out more. Possibly by making them solid instead of see through.

A well made very attractive and easy to wear watch. The silicone rubber strap is ideal and comfortable. Has lume display, and a pleasing sweeping second hand. Power reserve at a guess is about 24-36 hrs but not tested exactly. Overall a nice entry level automatic.

Absolutely superb watch for the money - great looking and whisper quiet. Light on the wrist and excellent time keeping up to now at least.
